Eligibility Criteria<\/span><\/h2>\n

Education Qualification:<\/h3>\n

  1. Be from the North Eastern Region (NER).<\/li>\n
  2. Have completed your Class XII or equivalent from a school in NER recognized by various education boards like CBSE, ICSE, or NIOS.<\/li>\n
  3. Be enrolled in a general degree course or technical\/professional courses, including medical and paramedical programs, at a recognized institution. These institutions can be:\n
      \n
    • Universities\/Institutions\/Colleges under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act.<\/li>\n
    • Deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, eligible for UGC grants.<\/li>\n
    • Institutions funded by the Central\/State Government.<\/li>\n
    • Institutions of National Importance.<\/li>\n
    • Institutions recognized by other statutory councils, both within and outside NER.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Exclusions\/Ineligible:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      1. Students pursuing courses through Open Universities.<\/li>\n
      2. Students already receiving scholarships under other schemes for undergraduate programs.<\/li>\n
      3. Students gaining admission through ‘management quota.’<\/li>\n
      4. Students pursuing courses not leading to a degree.<\/li>\n
      5. Students whose parent’s income exceeds Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
